We serve clients in the following states: Louisiana (licensed), Ohio and Minnesota (Counseling Compact Privileges).

  • Online therapy is simple and convenient. After scheduling, you’ll receive a secure link for your session through a HIPAA-compliant video platform. At your appointment time, you’ll log in from a private, comfortable space using your phone or computer—just like a virtual meeting, but more personal. Sessions feel very similar to in-person therapy, with the added ease of fitting into your real life.

  • At this time, Editions Counseling Co. is a fully virtual practice and does not offer in-person sessions. We’ve intentionally designed our practice around teletherapy to provide flexibility, comfort, and accessibility so you can prioritize your mental health without adding another commute to your week.

  • An initial 85-minute intake session is required upon booking for $195.

Individual therapy sessions are $135 for private pay.

Group therapy rates vary depending on the type of group, session length, and level of support provided.

For Louisiana-based clients, we are credentialed with the following insurance panels: Aetna, Cigna, Optum, Quest Behavioral Health, and in the process of becoming credentialed with UnitedHealthcare.

Insurance rates are not yet offered for clients in Ohio and Minnesota.

If you have questions about fees or payment options, we’re happy to talk through them with you.

  • Your first session is a chance for us to get to know each other. We’ll talk about what’s bringing you in, your history, and what you’re hoping will feel different in your life. You’re welcome to share at your own pace. By the end of our time, you’ll have a clearer sense of how we’ll work together and what the next steps look like.

  • The length of therapy varies based on your goals and what you’re working through. Some clients come for short-term support around a specific issue, while others choose longer-term work for deeper growth. Many clients find that 8–10 sessions provides meaningful progress, and we’ll regularly check in to make sure our work continues to feel aligned with your needs.

  • Under federal law, clients who are not using insurance have the right to receive a “Good Faith Estimate” outlining the expected cost of services. This estimate provides a clear breakdown of fees for your care so there are no surprises. If you have questions about your estimate at any time, we’re happy to review it with you.
